Ambleside GalleryAmbleside Gallery is located in the heart of the historic Southside area of Greensboro, and its management team is proud to be part of the renaissance of this fascinating city. The original works of art displayed at Ambleside include oils, watercolors, pastels, graphite drawings, fine print media and sculpture. All works are authentic original creations by living artists from the United States, England, Europe and Asia. Ambleside Gallery also offers custom framing, restoration, appraisals and in-home art consultations.
The roots of Ambleside Gallery date back to 1982 when Ambleside Fine Arts was established in Manchester, England. Representing several of England's leading watercolorists, the gallery marketed their work throughout England and North America. In 1994, Ambleside Gallery opened its doors in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, where it acquired a reputation for the consistent quality of its offerings and its commitment to every aspect of customer service. In Greensboro, artists from around the world fill the gallery with their museum-quality works of art. Exhibitions and artists' receptions are scheduled year-round.
